Purpose: This report follows a report to Council in April 2023, which detailed the Council’s delivery of the UK shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) through its Investment Plan. This report provides more details on the investment in capacity building and infrastructure for local civil society and community groups priority. This is in accordance with the delegated powers from the Council report for the Director of Communities and Wellbeing, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Communities and Social Justice, to identify those community buildings eligible for support and include them in the programme.

Content: Resolved – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Social Justice; -         i)               agreed that the projects outlined in 3.2 can go ahead in 2024/25 ii)              approved that this list of projects can be shared with the Inclusion Reference Group.
