Purpose:

Content:   Resolved by the Strategic Director   i) That the council award a 3-year contract for the provision of fleet management software services to Chevin Fleet Services. This is in line with the Council’s Financial Regulations and Contract Procedure Rules.   By entering into a long-term contract will give a more consistency and allow for further integration with the in-cab system used by frontline Neighbourhood Services as well expansion of the use of Fleetwave into fuel usage and Carbon Emissions calculations for future carbon reduction goals.   The current supplier is Chevin Fleet Services and the Fleetwave platform. Continuing with Fleetwave represents the most cost-effective solution given the investment we have already made in the platform and the integration with Whitespace, which would be incurred again should there be a change in suppliers.     Do nothing – The current contract has ended and is currently in place on a rolling basis, with no ongoing certainty.   Award to alternative supplier – Multiple suppliers were considered as part of this project and Chevin Fleet Services provided the lowest compliant quote through the G-Cloud 13 framework
