Purpose: Pursuant to an Authorisation from the Cabinet Member for Fire, Community Safety and Libraries dated 1st February 2024: The Purchase of Various GFRS Light Fleet Vehicles Following the conclusion of a selection process, under a Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework Agreement for the Purchase of Standard and Specialist Vehicles (RM6244, which superseded RM6060 original Framework),?in respect of two contracts for the supply of 27 new Electric Vans through Lot 2 of the framework and 5 4x4 pickup vehicles through Lot 5 of the framework for GFRS, and having consulted with the Chief Fire Officer and the Cabinet Member for Fire, Community Safety and Libraries in accordance with the Cabinet decision dated 1st February 2024: DECISION To award contract(s) for the supply of: 14 Standard Electric Combi Vans (EVs) including additional fitments, and 12 Crewcab Electric Combi Vans (EVs) including additional fitments, and 5 4x4 Hybrid Electric pickup vehicles including additional fitments, and 1 Mid-sized Electric Van, including additional fitments to the preferred suppliers, namely Toyota GB Ltd (14 Standard EV’s, 5 4x4 HEV pickups & 1 Mid-sized EV) & Citroen UK Ltd (12 crewcab EV’s).
