INTENTION TO MAKE DECISION Following consultation with officers I give notice that I intend to make the decision set out in the attached report. If you would like to make any representations to me on this issue please do so by 14 January 2025. 1. According to the Wiltshire and Swindon Biological Records Centre (WSBRC) “Wiltshire’s critical species project” the Common Toad is important to conserve because it is classed as an “umbrella species” which means their conservation helps protect other species within the ecosystem. It is listed as one of Wiltshire’s Critical Species. 2. The “Prohibition of Motor Vehicles except for access to off street premises” Order will also enable the Smallbrook Toad Crossing Patrol to operate in a safer manner, by reducing the amount of traffic during the toad migratory period. The elected Warminster Town Council through the statutory TRO consultation process Members of the Warminster Local Highways & Footways Improvement Group (LHFIG) Emergency services through the statutory TRO consultation process Members of the public through the statutory TRO consultation process.
