Purpose: To award the replacement Paddlegates contract at Four Seasons ladies and gents toilets to Healthmatic at a cost of £44,050 which includes the following: - • Removal of existing paddlegates. • Supply and installation of new paddlegates, inc. all associated connectivity. • Inclusive of cash and contactless payment system. • Clear site, remove and dispose of all waste appropriately. The current paddlegates are not operational due to faults in the system and the inability to source replacement parts due to age of the system. This results in an increase in vandalism, abuse and difficulty in maintaining cleanliness due to no access control system in place. The staff are not permanently on site monitoring usage and maintaining cleanliness, this is usually carried out through hourly checks. Additional costs will include the following: - • £750.00 per annum pre-planned preventative maintenance. • Call outs due to vandalism @ £190.00 first hour and £95.00 per hour thereafter. • Contactless operating costs, 2.45% and 2p per transaction, plus £10 per unit per month, deducted from revenue statement prior to transfer of net balance.
