Purpose: The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2024/2025. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community. Councillor Laura Marshall of Brunswick ward has requested: (i) £37.50 as a ward councillor donation to Adam’s Advice Service, towards the cost of welfare advice at the Warm Hub. Councillor Kim Critchley of Hawes Side ward has requested: (i) £194.62 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool Council Cultural Services, towards the cost of a library visit and free book for children at Hawes Side Academy. (ii) £1201.32 as a ward councillor donation to Enveco, towards the cost of a waste amnesty in Hawes Side Ward.
