Purpose: To present the 2023/24 forecast outturn position against the revenue budgets and Capital Programme that the Committee is responsible for, in order to give an expectation of possible variances against budget.

Content: The Accountant introduced the report and advised that the revised budget forecast for Committee had a £96k underspend. She explained that the budget had not changed drastically since quarter one and the largest variance was in relation to waste and recycling as the recyclate market had improved.   Councillor Thomas asked if any consideration of  litter had been given to the budget. The Chair, Councillor Turner, advised the question would be answered on the next budget report which focused on the future budget for Committee.   Proposed by Councillor Watson, seconded by Councillor Turner-Wilkes.   Councillor Turner-Wilkes and Watson thanked the officer for her report.   On being put to the vote, the Motion was carried unanimously.   RESOLVED To note the outturn forecast for the General Fund Revenue budget and the Capital Programme for this Committee.
