Purpose:

Content: Decision   We have carefully considered the application for a new licence at the Pier Event Space and Decking area, the representations made by members of the public and the Respondent’s evidence given at the meeting. Our decision takes into consideration the Council’s Statement of Licensing Policy, the Public Sector Equality Duty, the Home Office Guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003, the duties under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, and the rights set out in the Human Rights Act 1998.   Our decision is to grant the licence subject to conditions i/ consistent with the operating schedule, ii/ as agreed between the Licensing Authority and Applicant/Applicant’s Agent, and iii/ conditions varied and imposed by the sub-committee following the hearing.   See Schedule of Conditions below.   Evidence from Middle Deck Application The Sub-Committee heard the application for the Pier’s Middle Deck prior to this matter. The evidence was considered relevant and factored into the Sub-Committee’s decision.
