Content: The Leader of the Council presented a report setting out the reasons for the absence of a Member of the Council from meetings of the Council and recommending that Cabinet approve the continued absence of the Member from meetings of the Council until 30 September 2025. *RESOLVED – That, for the purposes of Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the reason for the absence from meetings of Councillor Kelly Thornton since 11 December 2024 be approved and that her continued absence from meetings be authorised through until 30 September 2025. REASON FOR DECISION To meet the requirements of Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1972.
