Purpose: Changes to waiting restrictions in Cambridge Street, Rugby, have been advertised as the above Traffic Regulation Order. This report addresses the objections, support and other representations received.

Content: Resolved   That the Leader approves that the below named proposed Traffic Regulation Order be made in part:   The Warwickshire County Council (Borough of Rugby) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) (Variation No. 9) (Part) Order 2025   and   Part of the Order to be retained:   Proposals relating to R2 permit eligibility, with the following modification:   (i) Replace the words:   In Schedule 1 to the Principal Order, under the heading of Zone R2 delete Cambridge Street in its entirety and replace it with the following: “Cambridge Street (even numbers 2 to 102 inclusive, including numbers 1 to 6 Cambridge Court)”   (ii) With the following:   In Schedule 1 to the Principal Order, under the heading of Zone R2 delete: “Cambridge Street (even numbers 4 to 100 inclusive, including numbers 1 to 6 Cambridge Court)” in its entirety and replace it with the following “Cambridge Street (even numbers 2 to 102 inclusive, including numbers 1 to 6 Cambridge Court)”   and   Part of the Order to be withdrawn:   Proposals relating to change from Limited Waiting 1-hour max stay to 2 hours.
