Content: To award a contract to Direct Healthcare Group Ltd to provide a delivery and fitting service on behalf of the Community Equipment Service (CES) to support them in making sure all residents in Cumberland have their community equipment needs met for a 1 year term and with a value of up to £100,000 inc VAT. This contract award is recommended as it supports the Council’s in-house Community Equipment Service (CES) to meet the needs of residents within Cumberland. The Council could decide not to award this contract, but this would mean that the Community Equipment Service (CES) would not be able to meet the needs of the Cumberland population.
