Purpose: Following the successful examination and passing the community referendum, this report will seek to make and bring into force the High Littleton and Hallatrow Neighbourhood Development Plan, so that it will be used by the Local Planning Authority to help determine planning applications within the Neighbourhood Area.

Content: The Cabinet Member agrees to make and bring into force the High Littletonand HallatrowNeighbourhood DevelopmentPlan, aspart of the Development Plan for the High Littleton and Hallatrow Neighbourhood Area. Following a successful examination and referendum, and in accordance with Section 38A(4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended), the Council has a duty to make the Stanton Drew Neighbourhood Plan part of the Development Plan. Thiswill meanthat theStanton DrewNeighbourhood Planwill have full statutory weight in decision making on planning applications. No otheroptions wereconsidered giventhat theCouncil hasa duty to make the Plan and bring it into force.
