Purpose: To seek the approval of the Cabinet Member for Planning to the use of £150,000 from commuted sums ring fenced specifically for affordable housing in the Council’s approved affordable housing capital budget. This allocation will enable the delivery by Worthing Homes of 6 units for affordable rent, including one wheelchair accessible unit, on the 17 unit s106 site at 62-68 Folders Lane, Burgess Hill. The funding is to be paid on handover of the units to Worthing Homes, anticipated to be in 2025.
Content: To seek the approval of the Cabinet Member for Planning to the use of £150,000 from commuted sums ring fenced specifically for affordable housing in the Council’s approved affordable housing capital budget. This allocation will enable the delivery by Worthing Homes of 6 units for affordable rent, including one wheelchair accessible unit, on the 17 unit s106 site at 62-68 Folders Lane, Burgess Hill.
