Content: REASON FOR THE RECOMMENDATION The Executive Member for Community Safety and Planning considered whether to approve the introduction of measures to reduce the risk of wildfires in high-risk areas of the Borough, to protect public health and safety, property and the natural environment, comply with legislative requirements and ensure that those persons affected by ASB are afforded the protection by the Order. RESOLVED 1 That commencement of a 14-day consultation, publication and notification period in relation to the Draft Public Space Protection Order set out in Appendix A, be approved; and 2 that the results of the consultation and any amendments to the draft Order be reported to Executive at the first available meeting. ANY DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST None. A NOTE OF ANY DISPENSATION GRANTED None.
