Purpose: Following concerns raised regarding increased traffic volumes and rat running, it is proposed to introduce an experimental one-way traffic flow on Bentinck Road from north of its junction with Sheiling Court to its junction with Groby Road, in that direction. It is proposed that traffic will flow in a northeasterly direction towards Groby Road.   The proposals are shown on drawing number CO00201659-BR-01.  

Content: Following concerns raised regarding increased traffic volumes and rat running, it is proposed to introduce an experimental one-way traffic flow on Bentinck Road from north of its junction with Sheiling Court to its junction with Groby Road, in that direction. It is proposed that traffic will flow in a northeasterly direction towards Groby Road.   The proposals are shown on drawing number CO00201659-BR-01.   1)    That following careful consideration of the informal comments received, authorisation be given to advertise the intention to introduce the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order as detailed in the schedules to the report and that, if no objections are maintained, the Order be made and implemented in part, as indicated below, as soon as practicable.   2)    That any objections maintained be reported for consideration. Following concerns raised regarding increased traffic volumes and rat running, it is proposed to introduce an experimental one-way traffic flow on Bentinck Road from north of its junction with Sheiling Court to its junction with Groby Road, in that direction. It is proposed that traffic will flow in a northeasterly direction towards Groby Road. To do nothing would not resolve any of the issues currently experienced.
