Content: The Director of Communities submitted a report to request approval for the re-surfacing of a 5-a-side 3G pitch at Thornton Leisure Centre to be funded by the Leisure Management Reserve.   Decisions   The Leisure, Health and Community Engagement Portfolio Holder and the Resources Portfolio Holder agreed:   ·       That approval is given to resurface the 3G pitch at Thornton Leisure Centre to the value of £29,970 (includes 20% contingency) funded by the Leisure Management Reserve.   ·       The Resources Portfolio Holder to allow this under exemptions to contract procedures, contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedure Rules on the grounds that: “The goods, works or services constitute an extension or variation of an existing contract, or are required urgently, or the goods/materials, works or services consist of repairs to, or the supply of parts for, existing proprietary plant or equipment”.
