Purpose: Provision of Water and Ancillary Services via Crown Commercial Services NFC188 Water and Ancillary Services Aggregation.

Content: Provision of Water and Ancillary Services via Crown Commercial Services NFC188 Water and Ancillary Services Aggregation. That the Cabinet Member authorises that the Council:   That the Council enters into the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) NFC188 Water and Ancillary Services Aggregation via the CCS RM6306 Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services 3 (Lot 3: One Stop Shop) Framework.   That the contract for the provision of water and ancillary to services be awarded to the Council’s operational property stock, to Water Plus Limited, subject to satisfactory submission of compliance documentation, under the terms of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) NFC188 Water and Ancillary Services Aggregation for a period of three years commencing 1 April 2025, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. To put in place appropriate provision for the supply of water and ancillary services to the Council’s operational property stock.   To ensure the Council is signed up to the most economically advantageous contract arrangements for the supply of water and ancillary services to the Council’s operational property stock.   A decision is required as a matter of urgency to ensure that the Council maintains service continuity and is able to meet the deadlines for accessing the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) NFC188 Water and Ancillary Services Aggregation via the CCS RM6306 Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services 3 (Lot 3: One Stop Shop) Framework.  The Council considered other framework options but these were subject to greater supplier mark-up percentages on the variable wholesale price of water services than the selected Framework.   The Council considered the approach of continuing with ‘off-contract’ (i.e. standard rate) arrangements for the supply of water and ancillary services. However, all Frameworks considered offered cost savings when compared against this approach.
