Purpose:

Content: R E S O L V E D – that:   a)    officers prepare proposals and submit a planning application for the redevelopment of Dormers, Caterham for a mix of 20 dwellings, ranging from one to three bedrooms; and a budget of £10.9m for the scheme be approved.   b)    authority be delegated to the Director of Resources in consultation with the Council’s relevant group leaders (as set out in Standing Order 46 of the Council’s Constitution) to procure and award a contract for the proposed development, subject to obtaining planning consent and construction costs within the approved budget.   c)    the Housing Development Manager and colleagues agree the terms of any agreements, documents and processes required to facilitate the delivery of the scheme, either in anticipation of the approval referred to at (B) above or otherwise, including but not limited to, any warranties, forms of appointment, performance security arrangements and the giving of any approvals all subject to the Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.   d)    authority be delegated to the Head of Legal and Monitoring Officer to enter into any agreements or documents required to facilitate the above on behalf of the Council.
