Purpose:

Content: To continue to support and engage in an Oxfordshire electric vehicle (EV) car club scheme, until 31 December 2025 and issue a licence to allow for reserved parking in the relevant council car parks at no cost to the car club operator.   To authorise the Head of Legal and Democratic in consultation with the Head of Development and Corporate Landlord to sign the revised Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) document.   To delegate to the Head of Development and Corporate Landlord to allow parking free of any fee between Vale of White Horse District Council (the council) and the car club provider (Co-Wheels) in respect of using parking bays within the council car parks as set out below, until 31 December 2025, for the use by the car clubs. As per Paragraph 1.2 of General delegations to Heads of Service, to remit or reduce charges normally paid to the council when there are exceptional or special circumstances justifying the remission or discount (in consultation with the relevant cabinet member).
