Content: That MDC purchase 1 x used Ford Transit Custom Van and 1 x used Ford Transit Tipper to meet the need of 2 x new post for Caretakers in Housing Repairs from Perrys Ford Mansfield. This purchase is broken down as follows: 1. Ford Transit Custom Panel Van 2.0 Ecoblue 130PS frozen white - £15,995 Ex VAT. 2. Ford Transit Tipper Single Cab L2 Ecoblue 130PS frozen white - £25,995 Ex VAT. 3. Total price - £41,990 Ex VAT + RRF £330 This decision is being taken to meet the new operational needs of the Housing Repairs Department, who are creating 2 x new caretakers’ posts. As these are additional vehicles, the costs are not met by the existing Fleet Replacement Budget. New vehicles were considered but as the lead time is currently 16 months the used option was selected.
