Purpose:

Content: 1.     To approve a direct award of contract via the Framework for the provision of Occupational Health services and the Employee Assistance Programme to UK Independent Medical Services Limited (with Spectrum as a sub-provider for Employee Assistance Programme services) for an initial period of three years (commencing 1 January 2025), with the option to extend for up to extend for two years, subject to satisfactory performance and available budget.   2.     To note and approve that funding for this contract is available within the approved directorate/ Service budget and no additional funding is required. The charges relating to Occupational Health will come out of the relevant directorate budget as it is a pay as you go service with no upfront cost. The charges relating to the Employee Assistance Programme charges will be covered by the Health and Safety (Safety, Health, and Wellbeing – SHaW) resources budget. The total contract value is forecasted to be up to £88,000 per year.
