Purpose:

Content: To approve the award of the contract for Email Gateway Cloud Services over the PS (KCS) Software and Associated Services Framework for the fixed 3-year contract term.   To delegate authority to the Director of Resources in consultation with the Head of Legal & Democratic Services to finalise the terms and conditions of and enter into the required contract with the supplier on the terms contained in the exempt appendix. The current 1-year contract for Email Gateway Cloud Services is due to expire at the beginning of July 2025.   Under the Procurement Code, which forms part of the Council’s Constitution, all budgeted contract awards between £100,000 and up to £500,000 need to be approved by the relevant Cabinet Member.   Procuring a 1-year contract rejected due to the cost savings in a fixed 3-year contract None
