There were two options in the report Option 1. Readopt Part II of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 relating to hackney carriage and private hire vehicles Option 2. Not to readopt Part II of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 relating to hackney carriage and private hire vehicles It was proposed, seconded and when put to a recorded vote RESOLVED: 1. That the Council intends to readopt Part II of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 within the council’s administrative area. 2. That a Joint Chief Executive may discharge the function to readopt Part II of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.
