Content: Resolved by the Assistant Director for Housing Approval to enter a contract with Tunstall for a period of six months; for the purchase of 1,000 digital lifeline hubs and ten IP adaptors for the complexes from Tunstall Ltd under the Procurement for Housing framework for the digital upgrade of lifeline equipment in the Assist Service. The full amount of equipment is £202,500. Tunstall Ltd will also decommission the old lifeline devices on a works contract for the value of £81,937.20. There is also £40,000 of sim connectivity fees in the first year. In total the contract will be £324,437.20, excluding VAT. A procurement framework award will be granted for the contract from the Procurement for Housing framework. To ensure the Assist service is compliant with the digital switchover from analogue and to comply with contract legislation. Not to enter into a contract. This would not comply with procurement legislation and the service would not be digitally compatible for the switchover.
