Purpose:

Content: The Director of Economic Development and Planning submitted a report updating Committee on the Ribble Valley Shared Prosperity and Jubilee Fund.   Committee had approved total funding for the grant scheme of £1,640,810 and following approval of the grant criteria, the scheme had gone live in April 2025. The report included details of the seventy-one expressions of interest (EOIs) received, equating to a total grant request of £2,883,063. Committee were asked to consider the list of schemes included with the report with recommendations made based on the following considerations:   ·         Only one project per organisation supported ·         Whether the organisation falls within the organisational criteria of this grant ·         Whether an organisation/ facility was supported by UKSPF/ REPF funding ·         Whether the scheme falls to be considered revenue or capital (this was a capital grant scheme)   Members gave consideration to the list of EOIs and it was suggested at the meeting that all applications be referred to the working group for consideration. It was therefore proposed that the full list of expressions of interest, along with two further EOIs not listed, be considered by the Working Group.   The working group recommendations would be reported back to Committee in September.   RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE:   Referred the full list of Expressions of Interest received for consideration by the working group, including those received from Sabden PC and West Bradford PC after the deadline and the two additional EOIs not listed in the report from Dunsop Bridge and Longridge.
