Content: To review all policies and procedures that govern what the Council expects from its staff and what staff can expect from the Council as an employer. RESOLVED – That the revised suite of HR Policies (as attached to the report) be approved. The policies, which have already been subject to review by the Council’s Management Board and external legal advisors, are felt to meet the Council’s statutory and employment obligations, to meet best practice and to optimise the Council’s attractiveness as an employer and the productivity and wellbeing of staff. Do nothing and not adopt the new policies, to change any of the attached polices or to add or remove policies from those set out in the attached list. No conflicts of interest were declared by any Member who was consulted in respect of this decision.
