Purpose:
Content: RESOLVED that: 1. the position in relation to the Parking Management Plan be noted; 2. the introduction of a Permit Parking Area to operate Monday to Saturday 0830 to 1830 as set out in Annex 2 be approved in principle, subject to the completion of the necessary statutory procedures; 3. the consideration of any representations received in response to the Statutory Notice be delegated to the Director for Highways, Transport, and Regulatory Services, in consultation with the Committee Chair, the Portfolio Holder, affected Ward Members and the Director of Housing; 4. a further report be brought back to Committee within 6 months of any parking regulations being implemented to report on the representations received and the response, an update on capacity, demand and other impacts, and an action plan for future phases where there is a need to vary parking regulations.
