The Strategic Director of Finance and Customer Services has delegated functions, as set out within the Council’s Constitution, Responsibility for Functions (Appendix 9), section 4C5: 3. Setting, supporting and monitoring the Council’s policies and procedures for managing:- (a) Budgets (b) Information and communications technology and digital services (c) Information governance (d) Procurement and purchasing (e) Legal Services Page 38 refers. Decision: The Strategic Director of Finance and Customer Services grants approval to the updated Business Rates Discretionary Relief Policy. Reasons for the Decision: To ensure that the Business Rates Discretionary Rates Relief Policy is updated in line with legislation, government guidance and the introduction of the UK Subsidy Control Act 2022.
