Purpose: The Manvers Street Remediation Project aims to identify and deliver concrete slab and foundation repairs which will address long-term issues with a key part of Bath’s road network. The project is funded by £5m of WECA’s Challenge Maintenance Fund, of which £887k has been used to cover feasibility and scoping work, identification of a proposed solution and preliminary design. The remaining funds require approval in order to appoint a contractor to carry out final surveys, provide detailed design services and deliver the works. These monies are provisionally approved and need full approval so a budget can be created.
