Purpose: The purpose of the report is to seek approval, in accordance with Public Contract Regulations 2015, Regulation 72(1)(a), to modify the call off contract with Trustmarque Ltdfor Miscellaneous Software as provided for within the existing call off contract at clause 1.3 by extending it for twelve months from 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2026.   The modification is justified as the requirements of Regulation 72(1)(a) are met as follows:   (a)      where the modifications, irrespective of their monetary value, have been provided for in the initial procurement documents in clear, precise and unequivocal review clauses, which may include price revision clauses or options, provided that such clauses—   (i)       state the scope and nature of possible modifications or options as well as the conditions under which they may be used, and   (ii)       do not provide for modifications or options that would alter the overall nature of the contract or the framework agreement;   The modification is provided for within the existing call off contract at clause 1.3 in precise and clear detail with regards to scope, nature and conditions under which the modification may be used.  It does not change the overall nature of the contract.
