Content: 1.As part of the development of the West Hill café project, Cabinet delegates authority to the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Place or her nominee, in consultation with the relevant cabinet portfolio holder: a) to undertake the due legal process to declare the existing Castle Hill Local Wildlife Site a Local Nature Reserve under Section 21 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949. b) to prepare and submit an Expression of Interest to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and subsequent Development Grant Application to support the delivery of the long-term vision for the Hastings Castle and wider West Hill site.
