Purpose: The developer Dandara Homes, proposed to install a new Zebra Crossing on East Road, Wymeswold, approximately 65m west of the junction with Orchard Way, to comply with Condition 11, approved under planning consent in the interests of pedestrian and highway safety and in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (2021). As part of the proposals, the existing bus stops would be relocated to cater for the proposed Zebra Crossing. Under the requirements of the Section 278 process, the developer has commissioned the County Council to undertake this exercise on their behalf.
