Sub Scheme of Delegation - Strategic Director of Regeneration and Environment, page 22.   Decision: To provide an opportunity for residents and businesses to share their views and feedback on their local areas to shape the Plan for Neighbourhoods. Reasons for the Decision: To ensure local communities and stakeholders have a clear understanding of the Plan for Neighbourhoods, and confidence that they will be listened to and involved in the consultation process. Details of alternative options considered and rejected: Recommended: Public consultation and engagement is essential to enable residents and stakeholders to contribute to the development of the Plan for Neighbourhoods. Therefore, the undertaking of in person and online formats are recommended to gather qualitative and quantitative insights and data from stakeholders and local communities.   Not recommended: The Council may choose to develop and implement the proposals without consultation. This option does not allow residents to shape the plans and goes against the Plan for Neighbourhoods guidance on consultation.
