Content: RESOLVED that Cabinet:- (i) Agrees that the proposed extension of the existing 40mph speed limit, together with the short lengths of 50mph speed limit, is the best solution that can be achieved to mitigate speeding through Crow Edge; (ii) Agrees that the waiting restrictions are suitable solution to the issue of injudicious parking on the A616 and that the extents are adequate to prevent any potential displacement of parked vehicles from creating further hazards; and (iii) Authorise the Head of Highways and Engineering and the Head of Legal Services to make and implement the 2no. Traffic Regulation Orders to amend the speed limit and introduce waiting restrictions as per the advertised layout.
