Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED that Cabinet:-   (i)             Notes that detailed proposals will be subject to a further Cabinet report;   (ii)          Approves the proposed virement of £3.44M for Goldthorpe Housing Project Phase 2, as included in the Towns Investment Plan Project Adjustment Request (PAR) approved by S.151 Officer on 23.05.25 and approved by MHCLG on 17.06.25;   (iii)         Approves the formal allocation of £5M capital funding from within the Council’s Capital Programme to support the development and delivery of the Goldthorpe Housing Project Phase 2;   (iv)         Agree that requests for draw down of the above BMBC capital resources be conditional on the approval of the Council’s Section 151 Officer prior to release;   (v)          Notes that should the making of a CPO become necessary, this will be brought forward for approval via a separate Cabinet Report; and   (vi)         Delegates approval of any amendments to the details contained within full business case that may arise during project delivery, along with the approval of any other full business cases to maximise the Town Deal financial settlement. Approval to include the acceptance of any additional match funding by the Council’s Section 151 Officer in consultation with Executive Director of Growth and Sustainability, the Towns Deal Board and Council’s Capital Oversight Board.
