It was RESOLVED that Cabinet: Approved the allocation of the following S106 funding to the Whitehill & Bordon Leisure Centre Wetside Extension Project; Funding Source Total Funding Allocation to be Awarded to the Whitehill & Bordon Wetside Extension Project Miller Homes, Mill Chase S106 Funding Received by EHDC (App 22024/012) £523,892.90 Future Miller Homes, Mill Chase S106 Funding Due to EHDC (App 22024/012) £513,152 (+indexation) Whitehill & Bordon Sporting Facilities S106 Funding £1,320,725 Noted that subject to the application process in accordance with the Council’s spending protocol, the commitment of £500,000 of CIL funding to the W&B Wetside Extension project and the deferral of the allocation until 2026. Approved the drawdown of £316,809 from the £4 million total project cost allocation from the capital programme in the 2025/26 budget to allow the project to commence RIBA stages 3 to 5 including Planning and Detailed Design works. Subject to the necessary Cabinet approvals, Officers will take all necessary actions to deliver the phases of work as outlined in this report. Officers will return to Strategy Board, Cabinet and Full Council later this year to obtain permission to proceed with the final construction phase of the project once the above phases of work have been completed.
