Purpose:
Content: The Committee received a report on a decision which had been taken through use of Managing Director Urgency Powers (in consultation with Chair and Vice Chairs of this Committee) on the allocation of the Council’s 2025/26 HSF 7 funding. The report explained that plans for district spend had to be submitted in early May for inclusion in the DWP delivery plan. In the latest tranche, Worcester City Council has been allocated £316,995 from the Worcestershire allocation. The report set out how the funding has been allocated, based on the principles which have been applied previously. RESOLVED: That the Committee note the content of the report, and in particular the use of Managing Director Urgency Powers in allocating the Council’s Household Support Funding Tranche 7 (HSF7) covering the period 2025-26.
