Purpose:

Content: Consideration was given to the Work Programme which contained details of the reports to be considered by the Audit Committee for the 2025/26 municipal year.  The following items were removed the Programme:   •     Risk Update – moved from 29 September 2025 to 1 December 2025, unless any major changes or issues concerning Local Government Reorganisation required reporting to the Committee; •     Grant Thornton - Management responses to Informing the Audit Risk Assessment (ITARA) – removed from 29 September 2025 as reported to the June meeting; and •     Annual Governance Statement 2024/25 removed from 29 September 2025, as this was approved elsewhere on the agenda.   RESOLVED: That the Work Programme attached at Appendix A, as amended, be approved.
