Purpose:

Content: The Council’s Corporate Plan (Our Plan, Our Future) 2024-28 was agreed at Ordinary Council on 9 October 2024, and sets out the Council's ambitions for a four-year period.   The report presented to Members informs them of the performance of the Council at the end of the financial year 2024-25 in relation to ‘Our Plan, Our Future 2024-28’.   The Annual Report 2024-25 sets out the key activities being implemented to deliver the council’s corporate priorities and summarises the measures in place by aligning key performance indicators to the priorities.   Cllr Barrett thanked officers who had worked on the reports; Shelley King, Sam Nicholson, Greg Campbell and Paul Burkinshaw.    Cllr Barrett also took the opportunity to thank Paul Burkinshaw for all the work and achievements he had made whilst working at Brentwood Borough Council and wished him luck for the future.    Cllr Aspinell MOVED and Cllr Barrett SECONDED the recommendations in the report. A vote was taken on a show of hands and it was RESOLVED:   That Members note the Annual Report 2024-25 as set out in Appendix A of the report which provides an update on progress to date against the Corporate Plan priority deliverables, corporate projects and key performance indicators.
