Purpose: To update Cabinet on the council’s building maintenance service.

Content: Councillor Lesley McKay, Resources Portfolio Holder and Marianne Hesketh, Director of Communities submitted a report to update Cabinet on proposals for the future management and delivery of the council’s building maintenance service, seeking into a Shared Service Agreement (SSA) with Blackpool Council.   Councillor McKay introduced the item and mentioned that she was happy with the report.   The report is exempt from publication under category 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 as it contains “Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding the information)”. For the same reason, some aspects of the decision that are also exempt from publication have not been included below.   Decision   Cabinet agreed to enter into a Shared Service Agreement with Blackpool Council for building maintenance services.
