Purpose:

Content: To write to the Planning Inspectorate requesting that they reconsider the Inspector’s Initial Findings Letter.   To reflect the wishes expressed by Members at the Communities and Place Policy and Scrutiny meeting on 23rd July 2025, and particularly in light of the changing planning regulations that will repeal the Duty to Co-operate. The alternative would be to not write to the Planning Inspectorate. However, this course of action has been rejected as it would not reflect the wishes expressed by members. It also ensures that all avenues to progress the local plan have been explored prior to any final decision made to withdraw the plan from examination. None.
