Purpose: This report outlines proposals to provide a total of 95 new cycle (bike) hangars across 49 sites in the Borough in the wards listed above as detailed in section 2.5 of this report. The report also outlines proposals for existing Dockless Bike Hire and Rental E-Scooter (DBH&RES) parking bays to be extended at 4 of the sites (Arlington Street, Bonny Street, Falkland Road, and Kingsgate Road), the introduction of a new DBH&RES parking bay on Gloucester Avenue, and planting of new street trees at 2 of the sites (Arlington Road and Warren Street) as detailed in section 2.5 of this report.    A public consultation on proposals for the 49 sites detailed in this report took place from 2nd June 2025 to 23rd June 2025. A statutory Traffic Management Order (TMO) consultation was also undertaken on the proposed changes from 29th May 2025 to 20th June 2025, in parallel with the public consultation.    These proposals meet the objectives of We Make Camden by helping to create clean, vibrant, and sustainable places by providing bike hangars, which would help to encourage residents to cycle more instead of driving motor vehicles. This would in turn contribute to improving air quality and lowering carbon emissions in the borough.
