Purpose: 1. Planning permission has been granted for a development of comprising of new residential dwellings, providing semi-detached properties, on land west of Bierley Lane/School Street, Tong. The dwellings are to be arranged around one main road, leading to a number of cul-de-sacs. The main road link into the access junction is approved as part of the outline planning permission. 2. In order to facilitate safe vehicular movements and maintain sight lines around the proposed new junction on Bierley Lane into the development, a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions is required. The scheme is a requirement of the planning permission and has been secured via a Section 278 legal agreement.
