Content: Authorisation to Release Funds from the Communities Transport Grant Scheme - August 2025 D40/25 That the following 2 Transport grant awards of £500 each are approved. Dereham Cancer Care - £500 The fund will enable Dereham Cancer Care to pay volunteers their fuel expenses whilst attending events and increase their outreach into the community. It will also fund taxis for clients where no other forms of transport are suitable. Hockham Parish Council - £500 The funding will be used to provide alternative means of transport to residents attending medical appointments when the community car scheme is not available and no other suitable forms of transport is available. Total £1,000 These initiatives focus on transport barriers in relation to connection into local community activity & services, for improved health and well-being outcomes. · To grant the awards · Not to grant the awards
