Content: Councillor Lesley McKay, Resources Portfolio Holder and Marianne Hesketh, Director of Communities submitted a report to seek approval to contribute up to £95,000 of additional funding to Poulton-le-Fylde Community Hall to enable them to deliver Phase two of its redevelopment works.   Councillor McKay mentioned that it was a fantastic community asset which brought residents together.   Councillor Le Marinel stated that the funding was going to make a difference to residents across Wyre.   Members highlighted how well the Poulton-le-Fylde Community Hall was run and praised the hard work of the volunteers.   Decision   Cabinet agreed:   That approval is given to contribute up to an additional £95,000 from the council’s reserves to Poulton-le-Fylde Community Hall for associated fees and capital works to deliver phase two of the hall’s redevelopment works, as outlined at 5.5 below.   That the funding be reported alongside the UKSPF community infrastructure fund and the amount be allocated to the Poulton-le-Fylde Community Hall using the same terms and conditions in the UKSPF grant funding agreement. The council’s contribution of up to £95,000 will reduce if surplus UKSPF funding becomes available.
