Content: To award the contract for commercial waste. Authority to award this contract was delegated to the Leader by the Cabinet at its meeting on 23 November 2022 (report FIN/595 refers). Councillor Jones, Leader of the Council, in consultation with the relevant Cabinet Member, Head of Major Projects and Commercial Services and Head of Governance, People & Performance,approved the direct award of a waste management contract to the contractor cited in paragraph 4.3 of report HPS/051 via the ESPO framework, covering an initial pilot phase of waste separation at two community centres. The Leader also delegated authority to the Head of Governance, People & Performance to finalise terms and conditions and to enter into a contract with the contractor cited in paragraph 4.3 of report HPS/051 for the waste management Contract.
