All relevant supporting information and evidence used to inform proposals will be published alongside the draft Land Allocations and Designations of the Emerging Trafford Local Plan. Trafford must have an up-to-date Local Plan and therefore the draft policies of the emerging Trafford Local Plan (Regulation 18) has been produced to commence this process. There is no reasonable alternative available. It is a statutory requirement for all Local Planning Authorities to have an up-to-date Local Plan.   The Core Strategy was adopted in 2012 and although the Places for Everyone plan provides a significant level of up-to-date planning policy for the borough, it does not address man of the local aspects which need addressing.   Large areas of Trafford are thus vulnerable to speculative and/or otherwise inappropriate development proposals with limited scope for the Local Planning Authority to resist or guide them to more suitable locations. None.
