Purpose:

Content: The Director of Economic Development and Planning submitted a report seeking approval to renovate an existing RVBC owned property into an affordable dwelling.   Subject to approval by Policy and Finance Committee, it was proposed to utilise S106 contributions to fund the renovation works, for which a detailed report would be brought back to Committee along with details for the future management of the property.   RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE:   1.    Requested that Policy and Finance Committee agree that Cemetery Lodge is converted into an affordable housing unit.   2.    Subject to approval by Policy and Finance Committee, a detailed scheme for the renovation of Cemetery Lodge, including details of the future management of the Lodge, is drawn up and brought back to this Committee for approval.
