Purpose: A request has been received from a disabled resident of Moss Lane, Altrincham for consideration to be given to the provision of a disabled persons’ permit parking bay close to the property.   Members of the Blue Badge Team have confirmed that there is a valid blue badge holder registered at this address.   A request has also been received for the removal of the existing Disabled Residents’ Permit Parking Bay outside 78 Moss Lane, Altrincham, as it is no longer required.   Each of these locations are within existing permit holder parking schemes and, as such, will require an amendment to the Traffic Order, if a disabled residents’ permit parking space is to be introduced or removed at each location.

It is considered that the disabled resident of Moss Lane, Altrincham would benefit from theintroduction of a disabled residents’ permit parking bay close to the property, that would allow their vehicle to be parked close to their house, at any time.   It is proposed to remove the disabled residents’ permit parking bay outside 78 Moss Lane, Altrincham that is no longer required.   None.
