Purpose: Valuing our foster carers: to seek approval to amend the current fostering payment scheme and to apply the updated payment scheme to all carers, including kinship carers.

Content: That the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Care rejects the alternative options and takes the recommended decision to:   1. Approve the adoption of the Fostering Payment Scheme 2025 Review 2. Delegate authority to the Executive Director of Children’s Services in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding & Care, to implement the Fostering Payment Scheme 2025.   For the reasons set out in the report.
